About Jennifer

I started Jennifer Edwards Communications after successfully navigating several editing projects that came my way. Turned out I liked it and I was good at it; plus, people pay for this stuff! Working with local authors, non-profits, and professionals showed me that what I do makes a difference to others—it alleviates stress because those who work with me know they have a professional editor at their side and help at the ready.

Every editor has their specialty and types of projects they like to work on. My clients say that I add the most value when I do a substantive or content edit, followed by a line edit. They also appreciate being mentored through the process and challenged to make a better product. I’m able to see how to make the copy and ideas flow better, what needs to be moved around to make the most sense, what copy to add or delete, all polished up to make the content resonate better with the reader.
